As announced Monday, the Express Conferences has added a new event to its portfolio in the
Diversity Conference, which will debut in 2021.
“We are thrilled to host a Diversity Conference beginning next year to strengthen our lineup of
events,” said founder and CEO Roy Edmondson. “It is very important that the Express
Conferences continues to make strides in facilitating world-class events that are centered
around inclusion.”
The first Diversity Conference will take place July 26-30 of next year. The event will then occur
from July 25-29 in 2022 and July 24-28 in 2023.
With the addition, the Express Conferences will feature 11 events in 2021 including:
Association, Corporate, Diversity, Incentive, LGBTQ+, SMERF, Sports and Student-Youth
industries. The association and corporate market will be divided into three conferences based
on the total meeting space required by the planner. Beginning after Sports Express 2021 in
Myrtle Beach, S.C., the sports market will be divided by outdoor sports, indoor sports and
esports.
The Express Conferences are founded upon maximizing interactions with the industry’s most
active event rights holders. The unique format is focused around limiting attendance to assure
a 2-to-1 ratio of sellers to buyers, which allows for an abundance of relationship-building
opportunities.
A small U.S. based business, the Express Conferences will limit attendees to 90 individuals per
conference and will also include a half-day community service effort for all attendees and a
portion of registration fees go directly to charity.
