Roy Edmondson has worked in the hospitality and sports industry for over 25 years including roles with Disney, ESPN (Disney’s) Wide World of Sports, National Hockey League, Royal Sports International, Aviator Sports complex, Myrtle Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, San Jose Convention & Visitors Bureau, Visit Anaheim and most recently as the Executive Director of the Orange County Sports Commission. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He Has 5 amazing children and splits his time between Peru and Florida.

Jen Totten was raised in Santa Rosa, California, where she co-founded a successful auto glass company with her husband, James. Together, they built a thriving business in Northern California. After losing their home in the 2015 wildfires, the couple relocated to Idaho, embracing new opportunities and adventures.

As a proud mother, Jen traveled the country to support her daughter’s passion for rodeo, which led to a full-ride college scholarship in Texas. Her son, a Navy veteran who served for eight years, currently works with DOD Fire in Nebraska alongside his wife and two daughters.

With her children now pursuing their own paths, Jen turned her energy toward the meetings and events industry. She has organized events for clients on a volunteer basis with schools, and community organizations, which sparked her interest in the field. Jen joined The Express Conferences, where she is passionate about creating memorable experiences and excited to contribute her skills to this dynamic industry.

Connor brings a wealth of experience in the Olympic Movement, hosting small and large-scale global events, and a strong background in operations, making him an exceptional addition to our team. His expertise will play a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing our global trade show conferences, ensuring we continue to deliver intimate, affordable, all-inclusive, first-class events where relationships flourish.

Rob Coggin
Vice President of Business Development

Rob Coggin is the Director of League Operations for the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA), and has been in that position since 2005. As a sports management professional whose career has also included stints with USA Hockey and USA Volleyball, he has produced the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships since 2006, growing the event in size and scope through partnerships with destination Sports Commissions and CVBs. In 2014, he was instrumental in the creation of USA Roller Hockey as a sanctioning organization for the sport, and currently serves as its Executive Director. Rob has also been an ice hockey official for the past 30 years, beginning his on-ice career in 1989 while a student at Miami University in Oxford, OH. Volunteerism and mentoring have always been a passion, and he currently volunteers his time mentoring other ice hockey officials in Colorado Springs as a Local Supervisor for USA Hockey, and as an elected board member and Development Director for the Southern Colorado Ice Hockey Officials Association. Rob lives in Colorado Springs, CO, with his dog Penny, and has one daughter, Grace, who is a freshman at Miami University.

Jennifer Rothman
Director of Finance & Group Sales

Jennifer Rothman joined the Discover Long Island™ team back in 2006 as an administrative assistant. In 2008 Ms. Rothman took over the Sports Development Manager position. With a lifelong passion for sports, she has spent the last 15 years raising Long Island’s awareness as a prime sporting event destination.

Without the benefit of a convention center on Long Island, Jennifer learned how to facilitate large sporting events using Long Island’s colleges and universities, the Nassau County Aquatic Center, Parks, Long Island’s NYCB Nassau County Coliseum and other independent sports venues across Long Island.

By attending several sports trade shows throughout the year Jennifer has brought to Long Island major events to the Island including the Diva Half Marathon, USA Artistic Swimming, USA Swimming, US Lacrosse, NCAA Championships, Tough Mudder, multiple NYS Championships and much more. Jennifer in the past years has worked with the USGA in 2 US Open Golf Championships *2009 & 2018*, USGA Women’s US Open, and numerous PGA Tournaments, and started the planning process for the 2025 Ryder Cup.

Jennifer took over the International & Domestic Markets for Discover Long Island in 2019, while keeping her focus on Sports. Jennifer’s role was to grow the international market on Long Island, NY.

Jennifer left Discover Long Island September 2021, to move to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her fiancé.
